Role - Design Draftsperson

Location: Bridge of Don

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 per week (no hybrid working)

Reports To: Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive 2D and 3D design visuals using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD tools
• Adhere to company guidelines and industry drafting standards throughout all design outputs
• Accurately depict mechanical parts, assemblies, and full system layouts in all drawings
• Produce supporting technical documents
• Manage and update design files through Autodesk Vault, ensuring proper version tracking and document control
• Collaborate with engineering teams and project stakeholders to gather input and translate design concepts into workable drawings
• Review completed work to detect and correct errors, ensuring consistency and precision in all deliverables

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault

Salary: Up to £45K p/a
